This scheme involved the design and placement of feature planters associated with a new cycle lane arrangement on South Mall. This cycle lane forms part of a wider network offering a safe cycle route from the Grand Parade to the Marina. At key node points along South Mall, bespoke planters with contrasting colours, were designed to highlight and integrate with the cycle route.
The planters offered the opportunity within the cityscape to plant a range of pollinator friendly species including shrub, herbaceous and bulb planting offering year-round interest and appeal.
