A signature office block set in a sylvian environment was the focus of the One South County development. Working with the existing levels and woodland placed challenges on the design which were overcome by working together with the Project Architects and Engineers to prepare a holistic and coordinated design, which was fluid in nature between the external site areas and internal building atrium.

Office spaces which overlook the canopy of the retained trees and public park style campus provides staff with a working environment which is set apart from that of many commercial developments. On exiting the building staff can utilise a woodland amenity walk which connects to the adjacent Dun Laoghaire Rathdown park.

The development includes a roof terrace which is accessed from the conference roof on the top floor of the office block. The space has been designed using modular furniture and planters which were designed by Doyle & O’Troithigh Landscape Architecture Ltd and can be arranged on site to create external areas to accommodate meetings and social events, with a view over the retained tree canopy and onwards to the Leopardstown Race course.
