Bray Primary Care Centre

Bray Primary Care Centre, located in the heart of Bray, offers a range of HSE health services for the local and wider community.  The development includes a pharmacy, GP rooms, mental health services, dental services, a café and Bray Meals on Wheels.  The scheme also includes an extensive car-park facility.

The scheme was ambitious from the outset in terms of placing the 5000 sq.m. building within the central business district of Bray.  There was extensive involvement from the collective design team to ensure specific site trees were retained which offered beneficial screening from adjoining properties.  It was necessary that the car-park design features a partly cantilevered arrangement to afford protection of existing tree roots.  It also included bespoke high-level trellising to offer support for plant establishment which in time would further soften its presence in the local landscape.

Mixed woodland boundary planting, specimen trees, formalized hedging and ornamental planting appealing to the senses have all been included within the overall scheme.
